The event, organized by the Rotary Club of Boscombe and Southbourne will be lead by the community for the community and consist of a river pageant featuring a number of vessels travelling down the river from Tuckton Tea Gardens to Town Quay. This is a charity event with all funds going to three nominated local charities, Hengistbury Head Outdoor Centre, Bourne Water Dragons (BWD) and Pink Champagne Breast Cancer Survivors' Dragon Boat Team.
With boats, their crews and participants portraying a theme of the history of Christchurch this will be a spectacular event
